Today I won another poster design contest, no cash prize though. The prize was a NZXT Alpha computer casing and an Enhance Truepower 460W PSU. I'm building up a collection of hardware, lol, but that's my hobby any way.

Today is a glorious day for me! YAY!

Today they announced the results of 2 design competitions I took part in, one which I won the top price of an 8600GTS EXO Edition, and I just found out I won 2nd place in TuneUp's Style constest with a prize money!!

How freaking cool is that??

Could my theming skills have paid off? I took my interface designing skills and entered a signature design competition where the prize was an 8600GTS Extreme Overclocked edition.

The month long competition had many amazing entries and I wasn't even confident of winning but I guess Lady Luck must have smiled upon me because I'd (to my surprise)somehow beat the odds.

Something I'd learn about design through the competition though, is the importance of the theme, the focus and consistency. I sincerely thought some of the designs were amazing but only lacked consistency with the theme and just missed the message.

It seems the inevitable(?) finally happened... my Royale Remixed v1.46 got passed off as the original Royale Noir 1.46...

I was alerted to this by a thread in Neowin which links to the entry on winAddons and hosted as freeware on Softpedia Awarded 5/5 Softpedia's Pick and 100% Malware Free Awards.

Will this theme succeed Royale as the most downloaded theme by end users?
