Remade normal cursors to work with 'Enable Pointer Shadow' in XP, no alpha blended shadows needed.

Hadn't realize everyone else's Vista cursors had no shadows until you mentioned it, including mine.

:whisper: I think you should convert the animated cursors too, they still don't have it ;)
In fact I did, and spent many hours (on 2 cursors... :nirvana:) making various versions of them, but I have valid reasons not to release them.

One: the Vista rings no longer looks smooth without alpha blending ie blocky and ugly because the cursors are only 32x32 small.

Two: faking alpha blending with opaque colors look superb, but you get bright spots on the shadows if you enable them or mouse over a dark surface.

Three: Last option, alpha blend a shadow onto them has a fatal flaw, drag a quicklaunch icon or a file or mouse over anything with transparency and it cancels out the alpha blending. Leaving an opaque black ugly mess that looks crudely painted around the cursor.

Four: Leaving the animated cursors untouch turns out to be the best compromise. Users who don't want shadows don't have to bear it, and the quality of the cursors are at it's best. Besides, the animated cursors usually appear for too brief periods and is so easily ignored or unnoticed, even for those who enable shadows since the cursors they work with most of the time has them.

I'm sure most people will agree, this combination for the cursors works out best! ;)
